Organic Certification
India Organic Certification is a designation given to organic products once they have been validated, ensuring that the product or raw materials used in the product were cultivated without the use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, or synthetic hormones. On the basis of conformity with the National Standards for Organic Production, a trademark – “India Organic” – will be issued. The Government of India will hold this trademark, which would communicate the genuineness as well as the origin of the goods. In the year 2000, the National Standards for Organic Products were developed to verify the authenticity of organic products. PQC is in charge of delivering organic standard compliance certificates.
